Privacy notice

Last updated 14 October 2026.

In short

  • This website works without tracking and without cookies for visitors. Nothing non-essential runs until you choose to allow it.
  • Your privacy choices are stored in your own browser (local storage), never on a server, and you can change them at any time under “Privacy & cookie settings” in the footer.
  • With your consent for analytics, anonymous product events are recorded (which trailer, sample or download was used, and that a checkout was started or completed). No analytics provider is connected at the moment; if one is, it will be named here before it is switched on.
  • With your consent for third-party media, video players hosted by YouTube or Vimeo can load. Loading one sends your IP address to that provider.
  • Full adventures and audio plays can be bought on this website. Payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy as the merchant of record, which is the controller for your payment data. Buying needs a customer account, created by signing in with Google; this site stores only the e-mail address and name Google confirms, and you can delete the account yourself at any time.
  • Purchases through an external store happen on that store, which is the controller for your payment data.
  • The 102 Wiki is a separate website that opens in its own tab and has its own privacy information.

Controller

The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

Swinging Lama Productions UG (haftungsbeschränkt)
Ludwig-Wucherer-Straße 34
06108 Halle (Saale)
Germany
E-mail: team@swinging-lama.de

Represented by the managing directors Sebastian Büttner and Michael Geidel. A data protection officer is not required for this company; please direct any privacy question to the address above.

Hosting and server logs

When you open a page, the web server automatically records a server log entry with the IP address of your device, the date and time of the request, the requested address, the amount of data transferred, the HTTP status, the referring page and the browser and operating system you use. These logs are needed to deliver the pages, to keep the service secure and to find faults. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Logs are kept for no longer than necessary for these purposes and are then deleted; log data is not merged with other data about you.

Storage on your device

The site uses the following storage on your device (§ 25 TDDDG). None of it is used to track you across websites, and none of it is set by third parties.

Name What it is for Type How long
102-consent Your privacy choices (analytics, media) and the time you made them Local storage Until you delete it in your browser
102-frostpunkt-bank The bankroll and record of the Frostpunkt dice table, only if you use that tool Local storage Until you delete it or reset the bank in the tool
site_session Your customer sign-in, only set after you sign in with Google to buy or to open your account Cookie (HttpOnly) 30 days, extended while you use the site
site_oauth Protects the sign-in handshake with Google (state, nonce) while it is in progress Cookie (HttpOnly) 10 minutes
102-purchase-… Makes sure a confirmed purchase is counted once in analytics; only written with analytics consent Session storage Until the tab is closed
cms_session Sign-in session for site editors. Only set after signing in to the editing area, never for visitors Cookie (HttpOnly) Session, at most 30 days
cms_flash A one-time status message in the editing area Cookie One request

Your privacy choices, the customer sign-in and the editor session are strictly necessary for the function you asked for (§ 25 (2) TDDDG) and need no consent. Third-party video players set their own cookies and storage once you allow them to load; see “Third-party media”.

Analytics (only with your consent)

If you allow analytics, the site records the following events without any account or personal profile: trailer start and completion, audio sample start, test download, failed download, purchase click, wiki click and product page view, each with the page address and the time. The events are written to a data layer in your browser. No analytics provider is connected at present, so no event leaves your browser. Should a provider be connected, this notice will be updated with its name, its privacy policy and any transfer outside the European Economic Area before analytics is switched on. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time under “Privacy & cookie settings”.

Third-party media (only with your consent)

Trailers may be hosted by YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) or by Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc., 330 West 34th Street, New York, NY 10001, USA) with the “do not track” parameter. A player is only loaded after you allow third-party media, or after you click the player on a product page. Loading it transmits your IP address and browser data to the provider, which may use its own cookies and may transfer data to the USA; for Google this is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for Vimeo by standard contractual clauses. Self-hosted videos and audio samples are delivered from this server and only produce server log entries. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Privacy policies: Google, Vimeo.

Customer account and sign-in with Google

To buy on this website and to reach your purchases you sign in with your Google account (OpenID Connect). Google confirms your Google account ID, your e-mail address and your name to us; we store these three values together with the time of your sign-ins, and we store the session cookie listed above. Google itself processes the sign-in under its own privacy policy (Google; for users in the European Economic Area the provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The legal basis is the performance of the contract and of steps you request before it (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). The account is kept until you delete it on the account page or ask us to; purchases stay linked to the e-mail address used at checkout for the retention period described below, and signing in again with that address restores them.

Purchases through Lemon Squeezy

Full adventures and audio plays sold on this website are sold by Lemon Squeezy, LLC (a Stripe company, USA) as the merchant of record: Lemon Squeezy concludes the purchase contract with you, collects the payment, charges the applicable VAT and issues the invoice. When you start a checkout we pass your e-mail address, your name and an internal customer number to Lemon Squeezy so the purchase can be matched to your account. Payment details (card or other payment method) are entered on Lemon Squeezy's checkout page and never reach this server. Lemon Squeezy then reports the order to us (order number, amount, status, the e-mail address used and the product bought), and we keep this record to give you access to what you bought and to meet statutory retention duties for business records (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB: ten years). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for the purchase and delivery, Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR for the retention. Lemon Squeezy processes your data in the USA; the transfer is safeguarded by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by standard contractual clauses as stated in Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy.

Downloads and external stores

Free test versions are downloaded from this server; this produces a server log entry as described above. Files you bought are delivered from this server after you sign in; each download is logged with your account so we can honour download limits where a product has them. Where a product is sold by an external store named on its page, following the purchase link takes you to that store, which is the controller for the data it collects, including payment data, and provides its own privacy notice.

The 102 Wiki

Links marked as wiki links lead to the 102 Wiki, a separate website that opens in a new browser tab. Its operator is responsible for the data it processes and provides its own privacy information. This site only records your click as an analytics event if you have allowed analytics.

Contact by e-mail

If you write to us, we process your e-mail address and the content of your message in order to answer you. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your message concerns a contract or purchase, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Messages are deleted when the matter is settled unless a statutory retention obligation applies.

Recipients and transfers

Personal data is only passed on to the service providers named in this notice: hosting; Google for the sign-in; Lemon Squeezy for purchases; and, after your consent, YouTube or Vimeo. Data is not sold and is not used for advertising. Transfers outside the European Economic Area only take place as described under “Sign-in with Google”, “Purchases through Lemon Squeezy” and “Third-party media”.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15), to have it rectified (Art. 16) or erased (Art. 17), to restrict its processing (Art. 18), to receive it in a portable format (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3)); withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77), for example the one responsible for our registered office, the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Sachsen-Anhalt, or the authority at your place of residence. To exercise your rights, write to team@swinging-lama.de.

Changing your choices

Use “Privacy & cookie settings” in the footer at any time to change or withdraw your consent. Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent. Rejecting non-essential features never limits what you can read, download or buy on this site.

Changes to this notice

This notice is updated when the website gains features that affect personal data, for example an analytics provider or a newsletter. The date of the current version is shown at the top of the page.
